Entrance

Hebrews 10:19-20 (NIV)  19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body.

To understand these verses, we need to understand what was. Back before His death on the cross, one priest could go into the Most Holy place once a year to make atonement for the sins of the people. This was such a serious situation, that a rope was tied around the waist of the priest because if he hadn't cleaned his closet, he would die in the presence of God and the priest could be pulled out. Now, it seems people are more willing to come out of the closet than to clean it. I wonder what would happen if we all took Jesus' death more seriously? We really do have it easy now compared to how it was. What's holding you back?
